Each term is its own queue with its own clearing rate. This is the real reason offers sit unfilled.

History
The solid line is the average executed rate for the period; the shaded band is the 5th to 95th percentile (not the min and max, so a single extreme print cannot flatten the chart).

About these numbers
- Data comes from Bitfinex's public funding market, proxied and cached by FuNi: live quotes refresh every 60 seconds, the term breakdown every 5 minutes, history every 10 minutes.
- All rates are shown annualised as percentages (the exchange publishes daily rates; these are converted). They are market rates, not what you take home: Bitfinex deducts 15% of a lender's interest (18% for hidden offers).
- History runs hourly from January 2019. A handful of extreme single prints exist in the backfilled era, so the band uses the 5th to 95th percentile; the period's true high and low are stated separately.
- "Rates by lending term" takes the most recent 1,000 public trades, groups them by term and reports the median; a bucket needs at least 5 trades to be shown.
